Hello, again. I’m Jessica, and I’m an acoustic sound engineer from the San Francisco Bay Area in California.
After finishing my Master of Engineering in Applied Acoustics from Solent University in 2014, I did some corporate work.
Aside from being constantly surrounded by the crazy sounds of the world, I’m usually exposed to sounds because of my work.
Hence, I feel you when you say, “I’d like to have some peace and quiet for a change. Thank you very much”.
When I’m not busy doing studio work such as sound insulation testing, background noise survey, mechanical plant commissioning, external plant assessment, and plant room breakout assessments, I casually share my knowledge about soundproofing.
After soundproofing my room, my family and friends were amazed by the results. One by one, they started asking tips on how to keep their mechanical tools quiet or how to keep the noise inside a car.
